Instructions

Start by gathering your tools: the Chawan (matcha bowl), Chashaku (bamboo ladle), and Chasen (bamboo whisk). Use the Chashaku to scoop 1 to 2 teaspoons of J Taste Ceremonial Grade Organic Uji Matcha Powder into the Chawan. Adjust the amount based on your taste preference.

Next, heat your water to 70°C to 80°C (158°F to 176°F). Pour about 60 ml (2 oz) of hot water over the matcha powder in the bowl. If you prefer a thinner matcha, you can add more water.

Using the Chasen, whisk the mixture vigorously in a zig-zag motion for 15 to 30 seconds until it becomes frothy and well-mixed.
